Worker Squirrels

Worker Squirrels are at the bottom of the squirrel hierarchy. Their duties include, but aren't limited to, cooking, cleaning, creating squirrel fox holes and bunkers, stockpiling weapons (acorns, rocks, etc) and anything else it's superiors tell it to do.

All squirrels must start at the rank of worker squirrel with very few exceptions. It is mandatory that all squirrels serve a minimum of three months as a worker before even being considered for a promotion to Sentry Squirrel. After serving as a worker for three months a squirrel's performance is than evaluated by a higher ranking squirrel and, if the Worker squirrel has a satisfactory or better performance record, the squirrel is promoted to Sentry.

Worker squirrels do not see any combat as most of them are very young and are too occupied with their worker duties. As their duty is to serve as laborers for the higher ranking squirrels, worker squirrels do not receive any combat training.

A worker squirrel surveys it's surroundings as it digs a trail in the snow. Note the longing in it's eyes to become a higher ranking squirrel.

This very young worker squirrel appears to be foraging for berries, most likely an ingredient to appear in a future meal for superior ranked squirrels.

Unverified photo of a worker squirrel. Judging from it's small size and unbushy tail it is indeed a young worker squirrel.
